Legacy so far is sad

I don't understand how Donald Trump and his supporters can brag about the campaign promises he has kept during his first year when their effects will include adding a huge increase to the deficit and trashing the environment. In addition to these, his agenda continues to include hateful and discriminatory policies with respect to immigration. To borrow a word, one must say, "Sad".
