McConchie, Bos to host Kids' Fair Aug. 13 in Lake Zurich

Illinois Senate Republican Leader Dan McConchie of Hawthorn Woods and state Rep. Chris Bos of Lake Zurich will host their annual Kids' Fair in partnership with the Foglia YMCA on Aug. 13.

The free event will feature live demos, a Touch-A-Truck exhibit and nearly 50 exhibitors with activities and information ranging from face painting, water and boat safety, and a fire pole experience, to college savings information for parents. More than 20 vehicles will feature in the Touch-A-Truck exhibit, highlighted by a visit from the LIFENET Medical Helicopter, which will land on-site at 10:30 a.m. Free refreshments and giveaways are also included.

The fair is scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Foglia YMCA, 1025 N. Old McHenry Road, Lake Zurich.
