Arlington Heights meeting on housing ordinance Monday
Arlington Heights officials will have their next public discussion on possible changes to the village's affordable housing policy on Monday night.
The village board will meet as a committee of the whole at 7:30 p.m. in the boardroom of village hall, 33 S. Arlington Heights Road.
Trustees will discuss a draft inclusionary housing ordinance, which follows an earlier meeting in September when some board members expressed a willingness to put more teeth into their existing affordable housing guidelines.
The ordinance would require developers to include some below-market rate apartments in new construction developments, but trustees on Monday are expected to provide feedback on the extent of it.
