Nominations due for Elmhurst's Exemplary Youth Service Awards

The City of Elmhurst's Commission on Youth is currently seeking nominees for its 2023 Exemplary Youth Service Awards.

The volunteer must be an Elmhurst resident (Elmhurst address), live within Elmhurst Unit District 205 boundaries, or attend an Elmhurst school.

The nominee must be elementary school age through senior in high school.

The award is focused on individual achievement.

The service, which must be voluntary and unpaid, must have occurred in the past year, between Feb. 1, 2022 to the present.

Deadline for submissions is Wednesday, March 1. The ceremony will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, at Sandburg Middle School in Elmhurst.
