Letter: Cartoonist's racism was exposed

"It's OK to be white." On the face of it, it sounds innocuous. Of course it's OK to be "white" or any other shade for that matter. But the phrase "It's OK to be white" has been taken over by white supremacists and become their dog whistle and means "It's ONLY OK to be white."

This is why a Rasmussen poll shows only a bare majority of Blacks agree with that statement. If someone says to me, "It's OK to be white," it tells me that that person is most likely a bigot ... same as if they had said "All lives matter" - another dog whistle.

This is no secret and Scott Adams should have known - or does know - this and thus he exposed his bigotry to the world.
