Leadership for which to be grateful

As a long time resident of unincorporated Glen Ellyn on its north side that adjoins Glendale Heights, I've been able to see Glendale Heights progress, bringing new businesses to the area, benefiting everyone.

I credit this to the long standing leadership of its Village President, Linda Jackson. Early on in her administration I sat in on some of her board meetings to see what she was all about. I saw that she was attentive to peoples concerns. It turned out she was there to help people, and that she has done.

Jackson, working with the village board has provided numerous improvements efficiently for the benefit of its residents. As a nonresident I've personally rented their banquet room.

Her administration has developed programs to help keep youth safe from drugs, neighborhoods secure, and seniors socializing and well nourished at the senior center, to name a few.

With Linda Jackson's reelection approaching, voters should be grateful for her accomplishments by allowing her to finish her work in progress.
