Night life events: Hofbrauhaus fetes four years in Rosemont

Hofbrauhaus turns 4

Hofbrauhaus celebrates its fourth year at MB Financial Park with a ceremonial keg tapping with Elliott Bambrough, host of WGN's “Chicago's Best,” as well as German dancers and free steins for the first 500 guests. Gene & Georgetti's bar menu

Gene & Georgetti recently updated its menu to include $5 classic cocktails and $5 wine selections with the purchase of bar bites. Cocktails include featured liquors like Gene and Georgetti's Private Label Vodka, Rebel Yell Bourbon, New Amsterdam Gin, Bacardi Rum, Grant's scotch and Jose Cuervo Gold Tequila. Wine selections include Fox Brook Cabernet and Fox Brook chardonnay. Bar bites include items like the crabcake sandwich for $9.25 or the filet sliders, three filet mignon sliders with a red onion and caper Remoulade served with seasoned fries, for $14. Thirsty Whale's lunches

Thirsty Whale Bar now serves lunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday with a $5 lunch menu that includes pub burger and fries, pulled pork and fries, chicken caesar wrap and fries, and a half order of any salad.
