Segment of Cedar Lake Road in Round Lake Beach to reopen
Cedar Lake Road from Rollins Road to Monaville Road in Round Lake Beach is scheduled to reopen Saturday, Nov. 12, after being closed for the last month for a culvert replacement.
With that project complete, another culvert replacement project will begin further north. Beginning Tuesday, Nov. 15, Cedar Lake Road will be closed north of Monaville Road in Lake Villa, with the scheduled reopening the afternoon of Nov. 21.
The detour will be Monaville Road to Fairfield Road to Route 132. Local traffic will have access on Cedar Lake Road from Monaville Road north to Winddance Drive and from Route 132 south to Thompson Lane/Pines Boulevard. The work zone will be closed to all traffic.
