Pulitzer Prize-winning author to speak in North Chicago

Author James Forman Jr., who won a 2018 Pulitzer Prize for "Locking Up Our Own: Crime and Punishment in Black America," will explore the rise of mass incarceration and its disproportionate impact on people of color in a presentation from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 19 at Greenbelt Cultural Center, 1215 Green Bay Road, North Chicago.
