This is a makeup of a game snowed out on April 14. The Cubs and Angels split the first two games of the scheduled series. Angels superstar Mike Trout did not play in that series because of injury. Trout was at .289/.461/.600 with 14 homers and 35 RBI entering Sunday's game at Seattle. Former Cubs pinch hitter Tommy La Stella, getting regular playing time with the Angels, had a line of .300/.360/.517 with 12 homers and 34 RBI. Cahill pitched for the Cubs in 2015-16. His ERA is 6.92. Lester has seen his ERA rise to 3.59. He is 5-4 with a 3.69 ERA in his career against the Angels.
