Blues-rock band The Instinct takes the stage at the Bolingbrook Summer Concert Series Wednesday, Aug. 8. Courtesy of The Instinct

Feel The Instinct

At a recent event, I had a chance to see The Instinct play their blues-rock on stage. These young musicians are good. And not just “good for young musicians.” They have the skills to bring out the best in the blues they covered, and their energy had the crowd moving and cheering throughout the set. See for yourself when they play an outdoor gig as part of the Bolingbrook Summer Concert Series next week. 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8, at Bolingbrook Performing Arts Center, 375 W. Briarcliff, Bolingbrook. (630) 908-2538 or bolingbrook.com.
