@CornerstoneBank names Jeffrey Boundy president and CEO

Jeffrey T. Boundy has been named president and chief executive officer of Cornerstone National Bank & Trust Co., the company announced Wednesday.

Boundy, who is currently president of the Palatine-based bank, succeeds Thomas P. MacCarthy in the CEO position. MacCarthy will stay on as chairman.

Boundy is one of the founders of the bank, which was created in 2000.

“Jeff has been instrumental in the growth of our bank and the board of directors is proud to award him the CEO position,” MacCarthy said. “Jeff's strategic vision complemented by his ability to hire exemplary employees who focus on achieving nothing less than superior results for our clients has resulted in Cornerstone becoming one of the most prestigious banking institutions in the greater Chicago area.”

Cornerstone National Bank & Trust Co., which also has offices in Lake Zurich, Crystal Lake and Naperville, offers commercial lending, personal banking, consumer loans and wealth management services.
