Prioritize renewables, not nuclear, to help climate

Dave Kraft nails it, writing that in fighting climate change we should go all in with solar, wind and other proven, clean, renewable energy approaches as well as energy efficiency rather than investing in nuclear energy, which may take over a decade to come on line with no guarantee that it was a good choice. Nuclear energy has been plagued with construction delays, cost overruns and problems disposing of radioactive waste.

In battling climate change, time is of the essence. Every dollar spent on a distant, questionable technology is a dollar that could be spent on proven technology that is working now.
