Palatine intersection reopens after overturned truck removed

A semitrailer truck that overturned this morning near the intersection of Dundee and Hicks roads in Palatine has been removed, and all lanes of traffic are open.

The truck was attempting to make a turn in the intersection about 5:53 a.m. when it overturned, Palatine police said. Authorities said the truck was top heavy.

Police shut down the intersection following the crash.

No injuries were reported and no citations have been issued at this time, police said.
