Grayslake Central, Grayslake North win
Daniel Rogers scored 10 points, and Grayslake Central's boys basketball team defeated host Grant 45-33 in Northern Lake County Conference action on Tuesday night to wrap up regular-season play.
Griffin O'Gorden added 8 points for Grayslake Central (17-13, 10-4).
The game also marked the regular-season finale for Grant (9-21, 5-9). Jalen Rios and Chad Kiesgen (three 3-pointers) each had 9 points for the Bulldogs.
Grayslake North 64, Lakes 54
The Knights won their Senior Night game in Northern Lake County Conference action, extending their winning streak to a season-best three games.
Grayslake North improved to 11-17 and 5-8 in the NLCC. The Knights visit Antioch on Thursday night.
Lakes fell to 9-21 and finished 5-9 in the NLCC.
New Trier 59, Vernon Hills 58
The host Cougars lost the Central Suburban League crossover, despite Tony Brown's 26 points.
Jack Barszcz added 17 points for Vernon Hills (13-17).
