Car crashes into Rosemont creek, sending 2 to hospital

Two people were taken to the hospital after a vehicle crashed into a creek Tuesday evening in Rosemont, police said.

First responders found two people inside an overturned vehicle in the creek near North River Road and Glenlake Avenue, according to a tweet from Rosemont Public Safety Superintendent Donald Stephens. The severity of their injuries was unclear.

Authorities advised people to stay away from the area during the crash investigation.
