Naperville-area man one of two killed in Joliet shooting
Two men are facing home-invasion charges in connection with a case where two people - including a Naperville-area man - were shot and killed Saturday in Joliet.
Jhakiren G. Pickens, 20, and Terry L. Tenzell, 21, are each charged with three counts of home invasion causing injury, and one count of criminal trespass to land, according to the Will County Sheriff's jail log.
Joliet police could not be reached for comment Tuesday afternoon.
Both men are due to have bond hearings at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Treshon L. Holland, 24, and Treveal T. Barefield, 18, were found in the 1100 block of Parkwood Drive around 12:45 a.m., as was another wounded person.
All were taken to hospitals for treatment, where Holland and Barefield died.
Joliet police said Holland lived in Naperville; the Will County coroner's office said he lived in Aurora. Barefield lived in Joliet.
Crime Stoppers of Joliet reported that police were seeking four suspects; two of them were Pickens and Tenzell.
