Press in cahoots with government run amok

On the front page of the May 26 edition of the Daily Herald I read about "Surviving a brutal bear attack" and the "Ghosts of Cubs seasons past still linger."

Buried on Page 11 of the same edition is the article that should have presented on the front page of said edition, "State House Democrats push their own budget."

Tell me please, who made that decision? That is news most critical to every citizen of the state of Illinois and you choose to bury that information on a back page?

The press, which should be exposing the agenda of a government gone awry, has become complicit with it and assists in hiding its actions. Shame, shame on you.
