Former Aurora woman admits to unlawfully posting private images

A former Aurora woman pleaded guilty Monday to nonconsensual dissemination of private sexual images.

Brandy L. Lukacs, 24, now of the 800 block of Pleasant Street in DeKalb, accepted a sentence of 12 months probation and two days in jail. She also was ordered not to contact the victim, nor is she to post anything about the victim on social media.

Authorities say that on Jan. 1, 2018, Lukacs posted a photo of the victim's "intimate" body parts on an unspecified social-media platform. Lukacs was arrested in October 2020. She could have been sentenced to up to three years in prison if found guilty of the charge at trial.
