Letter: Who's an extremist?

Liberal Democrats love to label anyone who doesn't succumb to their way of thinking as "extremist." I suppose when you are a hammer, everything else is a nail.

My definition of extremism: I think it's extreme to murder a human being in a late-term abortion. I think it's extreme to allow the medical profession to irreversibly mutilate a child's body to change biological gender with or without a parent's approval.

I think it's extreme to mandate electric cars without a policy to improve the weak electrical grid to supply the needed energy. It's extreme to shut down fossil fuels (petroleum), creating an inflationary economy in which everyone pays additional taxes, even those making less than $400,000. It's extreme to eliminate fossil fuels, which are the base stock for all of our plastics, such as used in the medical field.

It's extreme to allow millions of unvetted people into our country for which the taxpayers will be paying for their food, education, and medical care instead of supporting our own citizens and veterans with the same.

It's extreme to abandon Afghanistan and leave behind military hardware and weapons which can then be used by terrorists or sold on the weapons market.

It's extreme to "forgive" student loans. No one forgives loans; they will be getting paid by taxpayers, many of whom paid off their loans on their own, now forcibly having to pay someone else's.

It's extreme to have to pay an additional fee on one's mortgage to help pay for someone else's who my not be qualified. Remember the last time the mortgage trick was tried in 2007? That was extreme.
