CLC car show for scholarships

College of Lake County will host a car show that'll benefit student scholarships. Various cool cars will be on display at CLC's flagship campus in Grayslake from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 27. The Techs of Tomorrow Scholarship Car Show will be in parking lots 1 and 3 at the college, 19351 W. Washington St. The car registration fee is $12, which will support scholarships for CLC's future automotive collision repair and automotive technicians. Registration is 10 a.m. to noon, and visitor voting is from noon to 1:30 p.m. Awards go to the top 10 vehicles. There will be door prizes, with food and beverages available.
