Applications available for open District 25 board position

The Arlington Heights Elementary District 25 school board is accepting applications until 3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28, for the vacancy created by the resignation of longtime board member Chuck Williams.

Applications are available at district headquarters and the district website, and must be submitted along with a short resume to Board President David Page, 1200 S. Dunton Ave., Arlington Heights, IL 60005.

The board could pick a replacement as soon as December. That person would serve until the April 2019 election.

Williams, a 27-year board member, stepped down this month due to medical reasons.
