Authorities seek 3 in Palatine bank robbery

Authorities are searching for three people who robbed a Palatine bank Tuesday.
The robbery occurred about 5:40 p.m. at TCF Bank, 1589 Rand Road. The thieves, armed with knives, wore dark pants, dark hooded sweatshirts and black ski masks, according to bandittrackerchicago.com, a law-enforcement and banking industry website that shares information about bank heists.
Authorities said one of the robbers was a man and another was a woman. They weren't sure about the gender of the third suspect.
