Libertyville Farmers Market is now open for the season
The 43rd annual Libertyville Farmers Market is now open in Cook Park, on West Church Street in downtown Libertyville. The market will be held 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursdays, June 22 through Oct. 19.
This year features more than 45 vendors. Shop weekly for seasonal produce, cheeses, dips, honey, sweets, breads, seafood, microgreens and other locally produced staples.
Farmers markets allow customer access to fresh, nutritious food by way of a short supply chain and help support the local economy, as well as growers and producers. A bounty of farm fresh produce, artisan foodstuffs, fresh flowers and baked creations awaits customers each week.
Free, four-hour parking is available in the covered parking garages on Lake and Church streets. For more information and list of the vendors, visit mainstreetlibertyville.org, follow MainStreet Libertyville's social media channels or call the MainStreet office at (847) 680-0336.
