Libertyville teachers serve Culver's for a cause

Culver's in Libertyville was hopping Wednesday as Adler Park School teachers and staff served food to students and parents during their annual family association fundraiser.

Teachers visited with students as they delivered food on trays at the hamburger joint.

"It's fun for the students to see their teachers in a different environment," said Adler Park principal Kerri Bongle.

Five percent of sales of $2,500 or less, or 10 percent of sales $2,500 or more, depending how much food was sold, will be donated back to the Adler Family Association by Culver's.

The same event will take place tonight from 5 to 8 p.m. to benefit the Rockland Family Association.
