Fire alarm at Mundelein High

A damaged heating-and-cooling motor created some smoke and an odor at Mundelein High School on Wednesday afternoon, prompting someone to pull a fire alarm. No one was hurt. Firefighters are called about 3:20 p.m., just as the school day was ending, authorities said.
