CCSI employee Keith Yourg earns PMP certification

Clinical Computer Systems Inc., a leading provider of perinatal software and a strong supporter of ongoing employee development, announced Keith Yourg earned his Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

"This certification is highly renowned in the healthcare IT industry. Professionals who achieve it are able to successfully lead and direct large-scale projects, so customers are always excited to discover several of our employees have these credentials," said Director Customer Service Jim Spoden. "Sometimes healthcare enterprises even mandate a PMP be assigned to work with them because they know everything runs more smoothly when both sides speak the same language."

According to the Project Management Institute (PMI), there are over 750,000 certified project managers around the world and the PMP designation is recognized as the gold standard. In a 2015 Pulse of the Profession® study, PMI determined that when more than one-third of an employer's project managers are PMP-certified, organizations complete more of their projects on time, on budget, and meet their original goals.
