Bartlett Library, Will Buhlig presents the wonders of Cantigny Park

Assistant director of the Robert R. McCormick Museum Will Buhlig presented the wonders that Cantigny Park has to offer.

Buhlig said that when he first got his job at the museum, he thought he would be there for only four years. Fifteen years later, he still works at the Robert R. McCormick Museum, and he loves everything that the museum and the rest of Cantigny Park have to offer.

Patrons were able to learn the history behind the hugely successful park, which included how Robert R. McCormick got to be such a successful businessman and soldier. Both aspects of his life served him well when he obtained Cantigny.

After learning the background of the park, patrons learned about the various services it has to offer visitors: The golf course, the gardens, the restaurant, museums, and that there are over 100 programs at Cantigny Park throughout the year.

Buhlig said that Cantigny Park is a multigenerational area; there is something for everyone to enjoy.
