Fighting the anti-environment assault

Regarding your article of Jan. 29, "Environmentalists preparing to battle Trump, GOP in court," our clean air, land and water are America's most precious resources. These resources do not belong to businessmen and landowners; they have to be shared by all.

The danger posed by Trump to the environment can't be over-estimated. His nomination of Scott Pruitt, who has a demonstrated record in Oklahoma of anti-environmentalism, shows this. Government regulations protect the air and water for us all. Trump cronies only see our earth as a source of profit. How short-sighted and calamitous for us all.

I applaud environmentalists as they prepare to fight the anti-environment assault.
