Nominations open for supervisor's Community Service Awards

Nominations are now open for the 2018 annual Hanover Township Supervisor Brian P. McGuire Community Service Awards.

The awards are designed to recognize organizations and individuals who volunteer their time to make Hanover Township an outstanding place to live, work and raise a family.

Awards are selected by a committee of dedicated volunteers from the community. Committee members include Chairperson Lee Beattie, Lori Ann Airdo, Cathy Mikulski, William Henderson and Lorrie Glaser.

Individuals and organizations can be nominated in any of the follow categories:

• Adult Volunteer (18 years or older) Service Award

• Senior Volunteer Service Award

• Business Community Service Award

• Mel Runzel Award

• Youth (17 and younger) Volunteer Service Award

• Service Club/Organization

Award applications are available at the Hanover Township Town Hall, 250 S. Route 59 in Bartlett, or online at www.hanover-township.org. Nominations are due no later than Thursday, Feb. 28.

Candidates will be judged on their leadership, commitment and impact in the community.
