Letter: World class candidate for world class city

I am very proud to be a Napervillean for 38 years. It is a world class city. Accordingly, we need to advance to even greater heights by selecting a leader with worldwide accomplishments.

Benny White, as our next mayor, represents the future of our great city. Outside Naperville, he has acquired a West Point education, Division I football stardom, a distinguished Army career overseas and stateside, culminating as a retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel.

As a resident of Naperville for 17 years, White has headed the Wheaton ROTC as a professor of military science, secured an MBA and eventually a doctorate at Benedictine University, served on the Naperville Council as well as the police/fire commissions plus six years on District 204 School Board. Currently, he leads the Joliet West Junior ROTC.

As our mayor, Benny White checks qualification boxes that his opponents haven't even imagined.
