Hanover Township offers summer tutoring program

The Hanover Township Summer Tutoring Program will begin Monday, June 3 and run through Monday, July 29.

The program is designed specifically to address reading and math skills, and focuses on continued learning so children can return to school with less difficulty and minimal learning loss.

Tutors are primary and secondary certified teachers that work closely with students to ensure growth without the stress. The program will meet on Monday evenings at Hanover Township Youth and Family Services, 250 S. Route 59, Bartlett. Children in the second through eighth grades are eligible to enroll. The fee is $45 per child.

Tutoring groups have a maximum of four students per tutor, giving students ample attention as well as opportunities for group learning.

For a tutoring application, please visit hanover-township.org or call (630) 483-5799. Space is limited.
