Gurnee Days organizers seeking Honoree nominations

The Gurnee Days Corporation is accepting nominations until April 30 for this year's Honoree during the upcoming Gurnee Days celebration.

Since 1973, the corporation has honored people who have made meaningful contributions for 10 years or more to make the Gurnee area a better place to work and live.

A ceremony for the Honoree will be held on the Friday of Gurnee Days, which kicks off the annual festivities. In addition, the Honoree serves as the parade marshal.

Gurnee Days is scheduled for Aug. 8-11 at Viking Park.
