Anderson's Bookshop presents thriller author Brad Meltzer in Naperville

Author and TV host Brad Meltzer is coming to Naperville to promote the release of his latest thriller "The Lightning Rod."

Meltzer's appearance is sponsored by Anderson's Bookshop at North Central College's Stevenson Hall in the Wentz Science Center, 131 S. Loomis St., Naperville. The presentation is at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, followed by a socially distanced meet and greet line.

Meltzer's "The Lightning Rod" is another "Zig & Nola" novel about the mortician "Zig" Zigaroski, whose casework once again intersects with the dangerous artist Nola Brown as he uncovers military secrets dating back to the Cold War.

Meltzer's past work includes the best-selling thriller "The Escape Artist" and the nonfiction investigation "The Lincoln Conspiracy." He also is the host of the History Channel show "Brad Meltzer's Decoded."

Tickets are $40 and include a presigned copy of "The Lightning Rod." Kids under the age of 14 can attend free with a guardian.
