Celebration tainted
Could someone explain why Jon Lester felt the need to shout out an expletive during the celebration Friday, especially in front of thousands of kids.
Apparently this has become somewhat of a tradition for sports teams celebrating a victory? A radio station I was listening to that morning even predicted it would happen; they were taking guesses on who would be the one to use an obscenity when each player had their chance to speak.
Now I'm not a prude and have probably used that same word many times myself, just not in such a public setting. Have we really reached a point though where something like that is accepted, or even expected?
