Eiontracht forward Ante Rebic has mononucleosis

FRANKFURT, Germany (AP) - Eintracht Frankfurt says newly signed forward Ante Rebic is out until further notice after falling ill with mononucleosis.

Coach Niko Kovac said Rebic's absence could "last a while," and indicated Eintracht could look for another player.

Kovac said the club has "looked around for this position," and "we have until Aug. 31," when the transfer window closes.
