Lake County hosting community meeting on broadband access

Lake County is hosting a community broadband meeting from 6 to 8 p.m. Sept. 13, at the University Center of Lake County, 1200 University Center Drive, Grayslake.

The meeting is part an effort by county officials to address the digital needs of all residents. Broadband internet is essential for many reasons but not everyone has access to affordable and reliable high-speed broadband service, county officials say.
