Libertyville stormwater fee meeting postponed

A town hall meeting regarding creation of a stormwater utility fee in Libertyville originally scheduled for Thursday has been delayed to a date to be determined.

Village officials said additional review and analysis of the proposed fee is needed to best explain how it will be implemented. The proposed fee is intended to establish a self-supporting fund for operations, maintenance and capital improvements of stormwater and drainage projects.

In April, the village adopted a stormwater master plan that contains $45.5 million in identified flood reduction projects. Visit www.libertyville.com for details.
