College of Lake County to host comedian-activist Sampson McCormick

Comedian, poet and activist Sampson McCormick will present an afternoon workshop and an evening performance Tuesday, Nov. 1, at College of Lake County. Both events are free and open to the public and will be in Room C005 in the C Wing auditorium of the flagship Grayslake campus at 19351 W. Washington St. The 3 p.m. workshop will focus on sexuality, race, activism and community. The 7 p.m. performance will cover hot-button topics, such as sexuality, race, religion and politics. The events are sponsored by CLC's LGBTQ+ Resource Center.
