Time for a name change

There used to be a name given to countries ruled by a certain type of leader. These leaders were autocrats. They used their office to enrich themselves and their families. They engaged in illegal acts and worked to weaken and obstruct any attempt to bring them to justice. They sought to hamstring a free and open press. Oh, and they liked military parades.

Given that all these qualities so aptly describe Donald Trump, and seeing as how his party continues to support and defend him, I think a name change is in order. From this point forward, I think they should be referred to as "Banana Republicans."
