New medical director at Arlington Heights behavioral health center

Northwest Community Healthcare Medical Group has appointed a new medical director of its behavioral health department.

Uzoma Okoli, who has 14 years of experience in psychiatry, started seeing patients this week at the Behavioral Health Center, 901 W. Kirchoff Road in Arlington Heights.

Okoli received his medical degree from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria College of Medicine, and completed an internship at The New York Hospital Medical Center of Queens. He completed his residency at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital in New York. He is board-certified in psychiatry and sleep medicine by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
