Lyons shuts out Leyden

Lyons Township's football team remained unbeaten after picking up a 31-0 victory over host Leyden on Friday in a West Suburban Conference divisional crossover.

Lyons improved to 5-0 while Leyden slipped to 2-3.

The Eagles return to West Suburban Gold play next Friday with matchup at Addison Trail.

Lyons, ranked No. 6 in the state in Class 8A, hosts a key Silver Division matchup against Glenbard West in Week 6 on Friday night.
