Bartlett Independence Day parade set for Sunday

The annual Bartlett Lions Club Independence Day Parade will start at 1 p.m. Sunday, July 8, in the area of North Avenue and South Oak Avenue.

The approximately two-hour parade will travel south on South Oak Avenue, South Main Street and South Bartlett Road, west on Stearns Road and finish at the Apple Orchard Golf Course, at the intersection of Stearns Road and Sycamore Drive.

Bartlett police will be providing traffic control assistance. All traffic will be diverted during the parade.

No vehicles will be allowed to access the parade route, including park district patrons utilizing the Bartlett Aquatic Center or the Bartlett Community Center.
