Grain lower, livestock higher

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were lower Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery was 1.4 cents lower $4.03 a bushel; December corn was off 2.20 cents at $3.3940 bushel; December oats was 1.60 cents lower at $2.22 a bushel while November soybeans declined 10.80 cents to $9.7760 a bushel.

Beef and pork prices were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle was 48 cent higher at $1.0498 a pound; November feeder cattle was .05 cent higher at $1.2555 pound; December lean hogs rose 1.67 cents to $.4810 a pound.
