Naperville to resume in-person council meetings

All Naperville City Council meetings and workshops will be held entirely in person starting Tuesday, with virtual options no longer available for participation by elected officials, staff members or citizens.

Community members who wish to address the council must be physically present in the council chambers at the municipal center, 400 S. Eagle St., according to a news release.

A speaker signup form - only available online at www.naperville.il.us/speakersignup - closes at 4 p.m. the day of the council meeting. Written comments can still be submitted through the online signup form and will be posted with the meeting agenda.

Individuals who are fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus are not required to wear a face covering in the council chambers, per public health guidelines, officials said.

The council meetings are broadcast on WCNC (Ch. 6 - WOW, Ch. 10 - Comcast, Ch. 99 - AT&T) and streamed online at naperville.legistar.com.
