Lee & Associates closes sale of Mundelein Plaza

MUNDELEIN - Lee & Associates recently closed the sale of a 16,803-square-foot retail neighborhood convenience center known as Mundelein Plaza, 1460-1492 Townline Road, in Mundelein.

Terms of the sale were not announced.

The 100-percent occupied suburban strip center is located two miles west from Westfield's newly renovated Hawthorn Center. The plaza is a single-story multi-tenant building built in 1989 that contains 16,803 square feet of leasable area and six tenants including Stone Habitat, Mundelein Polish Deli, and Posterworks Gallery & Frame. The plaza is an out parcel to The Great Escape; the self-styled largest retailer of home leisure products in the Midwest.

Principal Rick Scardino and Vice President Edward Winslow, at Lee & Associates' Illinois office, represented the seller, Inland Real Estate Corporation. The buyer in the transaction was a private investor.
