Bartlett police investigating rollover crash

Bartlett police are continuing to investigate the circumstances of a rollover crash Thursday morning in which a 71-year-old woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries and had to be extricated from the vehicle she was driving.

Officers were called to a single-vehicle crash at about 8 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of South Main Street and Hillcrest Lane.

Their preliminary investigation determined that the woman had been driving the 2019 Dodge Journey northbound on Main Street when it swerved off the road, struck a parkway tree and streetlight, and then rolled over onto its side.

The driver was transported to St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates for treatment of her injuries. South Main Street was closed for approximately an hour during the initial investigation.
