Syracuse inks 4 more players, class up to 21
SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) - Syracuse signed four players on Wednesday to bring its recruiting total to 21.
Joining those who signed in December were: running back Garrison Johnson out of Manvel, Texas; defensive linemen Steven Linton, of Dublin, Georgia, and Jason Munoz, of Hollywood, Florida; and quarterback David Summers, of Fairfield, Connecticut.
Coach Dino Babers calls his new class "a big upgrade, probably a higher-rated class than we've had in a long time."
The Orange finished 10-3 and ranked No. 15 in their third year under Babers, ending their breakthrough season with a victory over former Big East rival West Virginia in the Camping World Bowl.
