Witness the 'racetrack' in Carpentersville

In the not too distant past, two houses and a child have been struck by vehicles on Amarillo Drive in Carpentersville.

With school starting this week, I would like to invite one of the Carpentersville officers, not with a marked car, to join me on a lawn chair in my driveway about a half-hour before and after the school days start and end at both Dundee Crown and Perry to witness the "racetrack" area commonly know as the corner of Cordova and Amarillo.

I think now would be a good time to look into this before another incident happens.
