Rauner's short list of accomplishments

I see that Bruce Rauner has won, narrowly, over his primary opponent. That's what comes from such a short list of accomplishments and the alienation of his conservative base over abortion rights.

To his credit, he hasn't been caught doing anything illegal or immoral, not yet anyway, and that's no small claim for an Illinois politician.

However, the same can be said for me, and I'm not running for anything. In fact, I seriously doubt that I would be favored in any contest, even unopposed.

But returning to that list of accomplishments, what exactly has Gov. Rauner achieved since being elected (other than popularizing the outdoor look for heads of state?) Has he even come close to balancing a budget that took over two years to pass? Has he championed any gun legislation? Does he have any concerns about the crisis in education, the opioid epidemic or sexual harassment in the workplace?

Where do you stand, Mr. Rauner? Besides as far away from Donald Trump as possible?
